ETIS and Window Sticker Process

Received an e-mail from my Sales Executive / Dealer, on Friday 11/03/16, with my VIN No and that my car was about to be built.

Immediately checked the Ford Etis and it advised a Build Date of 10.03.16.

Checked the Window Sticker site and it advised a Blend Date of 120160310, (10.03.16).

The Etis has not been updated as of now, (Sunday 13/03/16).

I have read it can take up to 5 days after the car has been built, before the Etis is updated.

Interestingly my e-mail gave an arrival date of 21st May.
Hope this is correct.

I can now start to get excited and look at selling my HSV Clubsport R8.

Just checked my Etis, (Tuesday 15/03/16 at 0300 hrs).

It has now been updated with all my cars details.

Is there any way of tracking my car from the Gate Release to Baltimore?

My build isn't due until 23/3/16. I'm sure sync 3 is just an option that isn't included on overseas models

Mine was built March 2... Window sticker says SYNC 3, Etis says "SYNC II"

Ummm, yes I know we won't get Sync 3. Was kind of writing 'tongue-in-cheek'. But hey, whatever! I'm just glad to finally see a little movement in my order.

Will be interesting to watch things over the next few months.

Found out today that my build due of 3 March did not happen even though Ford Australia sent me an email stating that it did. New build date now 28 March (maybe).

Do not rely on any communication that you receive from Ford Australia without corroboration.

If it's not backed up by Deysha and/or online tracking.....it never happened!

Agree, I was given 21st March Build date and now they changed to 23rd March. I was disappointed, sent them long txt and they never replied. Ford Australia is never going to change.

Like everyone else - I'm expecting the 23rd March build date to slip yet again. As much as I want to get confirmation, I will wait until the date has past then query Deshya whether it has actually been built or been given a revised date .

Ps- does anyone have an old bomb that they want to sell? I havent had a ride since Xmas and my feet are killing me lol (stupid me thought he'd actually get his new car by now)

Hey mate, if you have your VIN, check the window sticker. I just checked mine and I got my Window sticker this evening. I am sure your window sticker should also be available if its 23 March build.
