ETIS and Window Sticker Process

I got told a March 13 build and May delivery .... Don't believe it but at least I now have a vin number !

I have been told (by my dealer) that my car will be at the dealership on May 28.... (march build), then today my dealer updated things on my car and told me it would now be May 25 at the dealer!

I am quite amazed how accurate they can be with no VIN#!

Needless to say I am still expecting a late June delivery, I would however, love for them to prove me wrong, I clearly would not complain if it got here earlier.

I used this one:

(Copy/paste into browser and insert your VIN after the =)

Combined that with a free Firefox extension named "Distill" which I set to automatically check it each hour and alert me when the window sticker appeared.

Hey bkstng - like you I finally got a vin number today - my new salesman (I gave the last one the ass) has been actively checking for me each day (prob cause he's waiting too)

Mine was around 3-4 weeks. I think this is the norm for most

Just try not to look for your window sticker often :lol: Its tough to not want to check but I would say, give it at least 3 weeks to avoid constant disappointment

Your window sticker generally only becomes available about a week before the build date...I had my vin about six weeks before build...

I printed mine in A4 and I bought a A4 frame for it.
It's now hanging on my wall, waiting for the car to arrive.... :frusty:

Good. Just checked my printer specs (MFC-J6920DW) and it can print 17x11 when my Windows Sticker is available.

Anyone know where I can buy one sheet? LoL
