ETIS and Window Sticker Process

mine was built on the 28 feb it shows it in transit . now its just the waiting game
I asked my dealer and he said

It states that it has been “Shipped Plant” which generally means it has been sent to Baltimore but I cannot confirm at this stage.

Derek... according to COTUS, mine says ordered a day before yours... and yet not due for delivery till 5 days after you... go figure ??? And I don't even have a window sticker yet...

Mine was built the same day, confirmed it arrived at the docks 10th March.

I did this is what they told me


Hi Mary, we've had a look at this for you and we can see that your Mustang is still on its way to the US Docks in Baltimore. Once it reaches the Docks, your Mustang will await approximately 3-6 weeks for all the necessary checks and to be assigned a vessel for shipping. We recommend coming back to us at the end of April and we hope to be able to provide some shipping details for you. Thanks, FordService^SB

I did this is what they told me

If you are getting OTT stripes as per your avatar, this will delay your departure from the factory to Baltimore.

I have them and my car was sent to an offsite upfitter in order to have the stripes applied before being put on a train to the docks.

Although mine has stripes and was built a few days later and has been on the docks since 13/03.

More evidence that this whole system is incomprehensible!

Mine like [MENTION=25424]12baller12[/MENTION] has the stripes and there wasn't a delay because of them :shrug:

Hi Mary, thanks for your message.
We can see that your VIN is 1FA6P8CF6H5294240, however your build date is now looking towards the end of this month. This is due to constraints on the Black OTT (Over The Top) Stripes. Regards, FordService^SB

my build date was 21-3-17, ETIS build date was updated today 23-3-17 confirming the build date. COTUS also updated today from production to awaiting shipping
