ETIS and Window Sticker Process

Mine arrived on the docks before the COTUS 'delivery date.' I really think it has nothing to do with our 'delivery' and is generated as if it is a US delivery to dealer.

yeah my one has been sitting as "Awaiting Shipping" in COTUS since 22nd March. I was thinking (or hoping) it would go to "In Transit" soon. Normally when goods arrive at the docks they are classed as delivered, but from what I have read here and elsewhere on the Mustang delivery process its all mixed messages. Would be really nice if the system was just a little bit smarter, but its better than no system at all.

Your car should now have gone to the upfitters, and ETIS should have updated, ETIS will now be ‘settled’ and there will be no new updates to ETIS unless an outstanding field action occurs. You will know that this has occurred, and ETIS will have settled as the following will have occurred:
1. Within Primary Features your ‘Interior Colour and Interior Fabric’ will show up
2. Within Minor Features the following will appear – these are from the upfitters:
FR3C 5310 A* Left/Front Coil
FR3C 5310 A* Right/Front Coil
FR3C-5560-H* Left Rear Coil
FR3C-5560-H* Right Rear Coil

You can contact FordService on the forums for information about your car up until the car reaches the Baltimore Docks where it comes under the control of Ford Europe ([email protected] for information again at this point)

1-2 weeks later
Your car should now have left the Flat Rock plant, and be poised and waiting in the Baltimore Docks for a boat!

2-3 weeks later
Your car should be assigned a ship. Woo! This will also contain the estimated arrival and departure dates of the ship, it’ll be going from Baltimore to Zebrugge, however some boats do stop off on the way, the boats are not exclusively Mustang carriers, they take multiple cars of multiple different brands, makes, sizes etc.

Ok I got this on the 8th march from my dealer. :shrug:

Car is built.
It has just gone into a status of GATE RELEASE meaning it leaves the factory and gets shipped via train to Baltimore and then awaits to be assigned to a vessel to carry it to Melbourne.
I will advise when I know more.


then I got this one the 20th march , so has my car been sitting on the dock since the 8th or around that date ?

Still awaiting confirmation of it being booked on a vessel for shipment to Australia.

ETIS show all the details off my car, and built on the 28th Feb , but Ford Custom order tracking shows my car Awaiting shipment on the 3/03/2017 , and now its just sitting in Transit

Mine still says 'In Transit' and has been at the docks since 13.3.17. It won't change from 'In Transit.' Someone who had their car for over a year checked theirs and it still says 'In Transit.' COTUS is no help to you now!

I am keen to know if the details I mention above show up on anyones car in ETIS. UK site seems to suggest thats the sign that its left the upfitters, but do the upfitters still exist? (after reading page one of this thread)

My details on ETIS have all of those things too

12baller12 , At least you know when your got to the dock so you will have an idea on when it will ship , if it sits there for 4 -6 weeks .

Yeah, it seems a bit strange that the Ford Facebook people couldn't tell you if yours was there or not. I know they were also able to help [MENTION=25817]Sturty91[/MENTION] and tell him when his made the docks.

Maybe try them again?

My details on ETIS have all of those things too

thanks for that, so as ETIS has a lot more info for me those things are missing so mine must still be in the outfitters I am picking.

Generally it will be at the docks 7 - 10 days after leaving the plant. It should definitely be there by the delivery date shown in COTUS so basically wait 4 weeks from the time it changes to "In Transit" then start the daily routine of checking for a ship booking.

before the delivery date went to zero was the 13/03/2017 so with it showing that awaiting shipment on the 3/03/2017 it could have made it to the dock between the 10th and the 13th March , so count down 4-6 weeks from then , i hope thats about right
