I don't have my car yet but I can attempt to guess what they mean... I imagine "All sensors" is exactly that. All sensors are activated. While Perimeter sensor only activates the exterior sensors and deactives the sensors inside the car. From what I understand the Enchanced Security Package has motion sensors inside the car. So if your windows are down and someone reaches inside - the alarms are set off.

But that's pure speculation on my part and I could be way off. You can try to test it out based on what I wrote above to confirm if that's what it is or not.

I believe the owners manual said for any solid thumps against the exterior of the car a chirp warning sound will occur and any entry into the car or it's locked compartments will sound the alarm. I haven't heard the alarm go off yet though.

Why not just call Ford and ask them directly?
Would probably be the most reliable answer.

I hope the perimeter sensors are not super sensitive. I ordered the enhanced security package.
MY neighbor, where I used to live, had 'touch-sensitive' perimeter sensors (as far as I could tell). At night, 'kids' would run by and activate the alarm. The alarm did not have a remote and he would have to get out of bed, go out and reset the alarm. Other neighbors complained about being woken up. He still set the alarm every night. Finally, some one came out one night and smashed his windshield. He never set his alarm again.

Your speculation is correct. Source ? I tripped the alarm by putting my hand Inside an open window but locked door of a white 2015 GT

I just wanted to feel the soft touch door !

Still a very nice feature to have , im glad I got the ESP!

Yeah, this is the reason I hope I can find a fuse to pull on the alarm system. I do want the electronic locking center console, though.

If the alarm system is similar to the alarm system on the 2014 (which, aside from the centre console, I'd assume it is), the perimeter alarm is not that sensitive, and it only would go off if the doors or trunk are forced open.

I'm not positive, however, I think the perimeter alarm is the one that will go off if you infiltrated any opening while it's armed.
For example, if the doors are closed and locked, and windows are open, and someone was to put their arm in through the window, the alarm will go off.
(We have a similar system in our 2011 Ford F-150 Lariat).

IIRC On mine (2013).

If you press lock on the remote it locks the doors and arms an alarm that only goes off if I open a door or trunk.

If I press 2x the car beeps at me, and activates motion sensors that make the car chirp if someone gets close. I hate this setting if it is in my garage. If I take the trash out and walk close to car it goes off and scares the hell out of me.

I like it, and it is easy to use and effective. I hope the 2015 is similar.

I tested this on one---the "all sensors" activates the ultrasonic sensors for interior sensing also activates the inclination sensor.

I tested the interior sensing theory by leaving it in "all sensors" mode and leaving the driver's window down. As soon as I put my hand into the interior, the alarm sounded. If you look at the overhead console you can see the two ultrasonic sensors at the rear corners of the console. The "perimeter sensing" would just be hood, trunk, and door entry sensing (standard alarm capabilities). You can either have it ask what setting you want when you turn off the vehicle, or you can hard set it in the IP cluster settings and not have it ask every time.

You would have to jack up the front of the car to test the inclination sensor, which I did not do.

The enhanced security package also includes the electronic locking steering column which was not correctly advertised as included with the package outside a few dealer documents. You can hear it "latch" about a minute after turning off the vehicle. When you re enter the vehicle with the key fob in your pocket you will hear it unlatch. What is interesting is I believe without this package the steering column does not have any type of lock, which I have noticed with various vehicles I have owned with the push button start.

Lastly, the center console will lock as soon as you hit the lock button on the key fob (and I also assume with the lock button on the door panel).

Can you turn off the perimeter but leave the interior warning on?
No. To be clear, perimeter sensing is not "active" sensing. It's looking for the latch status of the doors, hood and trunk. In the perimeter sensing mode it's basically the same alarm function that comes standard on all 2015 Mustangs.
