Please, some one help me and tell me this is just incorrect writing from the author but this man says the V8 Uk stang gets 412HP but after 18months it will have 500Hp from the same V8 5.0 liter engine....What? This cant be right. They cant have a better engine than us. Mine with a good amount of mods is at 468HP. Yeah, it's definitely an error. Why would Ford even bump this engine to 500hp from factory? What are they competing against in the regular Mustang GT range? They have to save something for the GT350 and potentially other models, like a Boss 302. Maybe this article was guessing at future special editions?

I think it's someone confusing the GT for the GT350 or the GT500, but hey -- if they are correct and get 500HP Coyote from the factory for their GT then awesome! That engine would be sold here to. Not that actually matters since we've already got one. Stick a supercharger on if you are jealous

Why would anyone buy the gt350 if they move the gt to 500? people could just mod the hell out of the suspension and have a similar car for much cheaper. It has to be a mistake.

It's saying that the 2017 model, in 18 months from now, will see a more powerful Coyote. Possibly yes, but very likely not 500hp or near that.

Maybe 20-30 more to 455-465 to just top the new Camaro.

All wild speculation and guesses.

That came from an old article that's been debunked for a while. It came out before the GT350 was announced and they mixed up their details. I know the article posted here says July 2015 but that is an exerpt from the old article, actually a clip from a magazine.

Thanks for the reassurance guys lol I was very jealous. And I can't throw a supercharger on mins till its 75% paid off or I have extra money for a back up since its my daily driver. Boy I was worried the Brits got something better than us. Would've complained to Ford for taking the wrong side

Im pretty sure the GT350 won't be sold in the EU ? And for V8 and 0-60 numbers the Mustang is lacking. Many hot (hyper) hatches match the car in terms of 0-60 while being the same price and mostly better build quality. So it might be smart for Ford too boost the power for sales.

Can never beat the looks though

I'd say they should, since they opened their market with the "cheaper" versions, why not take advantage of making more money ?!
I just dont see it coming in RHD though, but eh, who am I ? :shrug:

The only one they have to bump from factory is the ecoboost....like adding 50HP or so..
