Quick question. I noticed that my 500 idles a bit rough when 1st startup after a few days of not being run. It will smooth out after a few minutes, and runs fine after that. Should I be concerned? Completely stock.

Probably being dry in cylinders. The gas that is there between starts is dried up?

hence takes a moment to get it all back in

Mine sorta "lightly lopes" at fourteen hundred but smooths out when she idles down to around a thousand. Not sure if that's similar to your question or not, Moon.

Don't know if you're in the chain tensioner threads, but have you checked to make certain you don't have that issue?
