Probably a bit anti-climatic but this was my recent oil analysis from Black Stone. This was 5w20 Mobil 1 oil with appx. 2,000 miles. I had a total of appx. 3200 miles on the car at sampling. Yes, I do have the tick. Please click the attachment below.

EDIT: The following is a response from Blackstone in regards to a question that I ask about what to look for in the oil sample if I was seeing excessive cylinder bore/piston wear. :
As far as poor piston/cylinder wear goes, that would show up in our tests as high aluminum/iron (respectively). Ferrous oxide is just rust off of steel, and that shouldn't really be an issue in a modern gasoline engine with how well sealed up they are. Really, we just test 20 of the base elements, so we wouldn't be able to tell if iron is from, say, a nanocrystalline-structured steel or just standard steel. When certain elements/metals show up together, that can help us pinpoint the source, but with so many steel parts in an engine is hard to be 100% sure where iron in oil analysis is coming from. Another thing to look for if piston scuffing is suspected are visible pieces of metal in the oil/filter. From what this first report showed for your Coyote, all looks good -- surprisingly good in fact, considering the low miles on the engine . Usually we find a lot more metals from wear-in in the second oil change, but your 5.0L is already nearly wearing like most do post-break-in. Please let me know if I haven't properly addressed your question, or if you have any other inquiries about your report.

Good info. Are you going to do it again?
Thanks! Yes, I will be doing it again. I will probably go just a bit longer this time because I switched to Driven DI30 and that stuff aint cheap. :)

3,200 A bit early to get wound up about oil samples. Quite a few of the readings will be high as the engine is still breaking in.

I agree, probably wasn't of much value but at least its a baseline.

So does that mean the tick isn't doing any harm? Based on the lab results?
Too soon to tell. The copper count is up but as JayRod said, its too premature to really know anything. The levels, according to Black Stone are to be expected with the engine having such low mileage.

Curious .....What components in the motor are copper?

Certainly there are smarter folk on here that can elaborate on this but my understanding is the main and rod bearings would be the primary source.

In the notes from Black Stone:

There was a little extra copper, but
this seems to be just the second oil change for your Mustang, so wear-in can account for that. Copper
should wash and eventually look like universal averages

Does the Black Stone analysis show the cylinder bore materials .....
nanocrystalline iron and ferrous-oxide ? I failed the periodic table chart thing.... maybe my question is already answered in the posted file.

I had my first oil change sent off for a UOA, it came back with the typical results for a new engine with 1k miles. I have the tick and rattle. I’ll send this one off at 11k. Guess we will see then if the noises really cause motor issues. I use amsoil UOA I’ve used blackstone also I just get a better deal with amsoil. I need to figure out how to post up a screen shot or picture on here and I’ll post mine. But nothing big really with a 1k sample
