Just took my car to a dealership to have tech listen to my engine tick. I have the tick at idle and it also ticks when in 1500-1700rpm range. Whether it's warmed up or not, if I'm accelerating in gear or neutral, the tick can be produced between 1500-1700rpm on throttle.
Just hit 13k miles on my 2020 5.0 and it's been consuming 1qt oil per 1000miles or so. They want to start an oil consumption test and I'm supposed to bring it back in when my oil has gone below the bottom dipstick reader. I want this to get escalated and the pistons diagnosed further.

Anyone else have any luck getting their engine further inspected (borescope, compression, etc..) for the same concern?

That is not good. I'm over 5k on my 4 mo old '21 and still well over the low mark on the dipstick.

I just checked my oil level. With a little over 5k on the clock. 2 mo old , bought new 5.0. At the fill mark. Your car had to have come underfilled or you have an issue.
