What is the criteria as far as determining whether the engine mounts need to be replaced? Is there a mileage/potential symptoms to look for?

I ask for this because I am sensing more and more NVH from the engine especially high RPMs past 4000.

Mileage : 63,000. Original clutch and flywheel.

Look for tears, loose bolts, etc. I'd recommend checking the weights/dampeners on your exhaust as those will increase NVH around that RPM if they fall off.

What would a bad exhaust hanger look like? Nothing looks loose/ripped/etc, I spend a lot of time under the car
