Hi
Again my engine light is on seems a constant thing
I bought an OBD reader and it says
Code P226D
Particulate filter deteriorated/missing substrate bank 1
Any thoughts on this
My engine light was on recently Ford charged me £110 to say there was condensation in the exhaust and drive it more

From the code it looks like the catalyzer/particulate filter is broken. This is probably detected by too low difference pressure on the two sides of the filter.
If you have Forscan you can try to read what are the detected values and compare them with the other bank, and isolate is it's a faulty sensor or a faulty catalyzer (particulate filter is embedded into it).

Anyway there is no other thing you can do besides replacing it.
How much do you drive your car? Does it happen that you use it on short trips, low temperatures (or both)?
These things need to be driven "the right way" (read: you have to warm them really good and use the right pedal abundantly) otherwise this and other things can and will happen. Exhaust condensation is corrosive.
