Hello,

I'm just about to trade in my Chevy Cruze and found out by accident that it had next to no engine coolant left. So I went and bought a jug.

Now the Mustang manual says that we should use 'Motorcraft Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Prediluted VC-3DIL-B WSS-M97B44-D2'. I looked at the back of the jug that I bought ( http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/p...antifreeze-coolant-0293027p.html#.VfjeM3BVhBc ) and it says that it's compliant with Ford 'WSS-M97B44-D'.

Is 'WSS-M97B44-D' that much different from 'WSS-M97B44-D2'? Basically, do I toss the 3/4 jug after I trade my Chevy or can I use that in the Mustang?

Thanks

The owner's manual specifies that you should not mix different types of coolant so I wouldn't do it. I actually just ordered some on amazon last night for $23
