So I am trying to wire up some behind the grill lights an am having a bit of trouble figuring out where to put in a fuse add-a-circuit to the engine bay fuse box. I would like to put in the add-a-circuit to a fuse that I could ideally command from something already in the cabin (ie fog lights). But my research indicates the fog lights get power from the BCM(or whatever the correct module is). I am trying to do it this way as I don't want to bother running a new wire to the cabin. This fuse tap would not be used as the power source but rather to trigger a separate relay. bjstang seems to tap into fuse 38 for his grill LEDs but that is just listed as generic "vehicle power 1" in my manual so I am not sure what else it goes to, and would like to avoid messing with anything critical.
Some may suggest just tapping off the fog lights themselves but I want to keep this non permanent and easily reversible at least until I decide if I like it and want to keep it or just remove it all. This is the last thing keeping me from installing these lights so any help would be appreciated. I plan to do a "guide" of sorta after I get all done and will be sure to give credit where it is due.
Below is a picture of the lights mocked up via zip ties (have since made brackets). And below that is drawing of roughly my wiring method with the part I am asking about boxed in red.
