I assume that means your door handle had an electrical glitch which drained the battery? Or are we talking two separate issues?
Idk yet. Just the cover to the emergency key access on the door is stuck. So when the battery died (still don't know for sure it's the battery) their was no way in. I bent the key and mangled the plastic, but still wouldn't come off. Put at least 60-80 tq on that stupid little key lol. R/A even tried a screwdriver, no luck.

I don't get it! You took a screw driver to get in the brand new car?
There is no way to write down what I am thinking right now. How about calling the ROADSIDE assistance? 24/7 and free! You had to call the towing truck anyway. Sorry! You can't be serious! :tsk:

But I am sure FORD is to blame for all your gadgets you had plugged in. I like that!:paddle:

Did you leave you dashcam plugged in or anything else?

The power outlets on this car are always on. The simple solution is to run my dashcam from the USB port, using a charge only cable. (Prevents dashcam from going into storage mode and your battery from being drained as USB turns off).

PS: I haven't had issues getting the key out of the fob.

Did you look at the manual online? It has a section. You place the key in the slot, push up, then push to the right. The knob next to the handle itself will actually slide, unlocking the car.

EDIT: The reason I'm asking, is because it sounds like you tried turning the key. That isn't Ford's fault, that's user error.

Nobody was able to get it open. Ended up having to pop the hood through the grill (much easier) and jump starting to get power back. Every instruction was followed and every angle was tried. I'm not blaming anyone for the battery going dead. Or any problems caused by modifying. I just think it should be simple to do.

Lol why would I try to turn it? It's just a slot in the handle it's obvious that nothing turns by looking at it.

I've been modifying my cars since the mid 90s and have learned to do everything myself short of rebuilding motors and tuning. It's probably just a defective one. It will take something with more leverage and strength than the spare key to open it.

Got some great news by email. Delicious Tuning will be offering protunes soon. And probably a flex fuel kit. They will be the one that I will have tune my car once I get some serious mods. Their reply below.

I apologize for the delay we were out all last week and finally got back and catching up. Anyway we are definitely offering pro tuning services for the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. We will be using Cobb to tune the system.*We are already looking into developing a FlexFuel system for the car too.*If you have any further questions or comments please ask.

Cheers,
William Knose

Yeah !!! Just picked up another high end parts sponsor (JDL Autodesign). For all hot parts except the intercooler core. Between them and Full-Race I will only have to buy the intercooler core and Borg EFR turbo. Then Delicious Tuning after. I'm so glad help persuade some of the better fabrication companies to this platform. I was starting to get sad seeing the parts coming out. Full-race and JDL will probably put out the best stuff available for this car. Their kits are artwork and make huge power. Save your monies!!!!

Any ETA on when Full-Race will have a intake, intercooler, or exhaust available? I thought they said they would make a build thread to keep us updated.
