ecoboost vs hemi?

I have an adamtuned roush stage 1 ecoboost. wondering how ill compare to my buddies 2008 charger r/t with the 5/7 hemi. as far as i know it has no work done to it. Anyone have any experience with this one?

Yes. I've driven several of these older 5.7L cars. They're torquey and sound great but not really performance car material by 2016 standards. It's a ~4100lb car with ~340hp at the crank.

Your Ecoboost would likely be quicker even without the tune.

its an 07 or 08 charger not a 15 challenger. big difference

Stock EBM pulls a 13.9 1/4 mile, any tune and your at 13.1.
5.7L Hemi? = aint scured.

The 08 R/T's were the pre-VVT 5.7's..they're not super great. Fantastic highway motors, good torque..but not really a performance mill anywhere near stock configuration.

An EBM will decimate it, not even close. 09+ 5.7's will put up more of a fight, but a bolt-on tuned EBM will still handily beat it.

I raced a guy at work with a 13 charger rt. It was funny to say the least. Eco with tune too easy.

What gearing? The standard Charger R/T has 2.73's out back, the R/T "Road and Track" has 3.06's.

It still won't be hard, but a stock or reasonably close to stock a 2012 Charger R/T will pull mid 13's on stock tires..WITH the 3.06 gears.
