Long story short, sister's moving to Florida next year and wants a drop top.

She drove an '18 430 x-drive tonight and loved it, but wants new. Price wise, she could get a fully loaded GT for the same price as a decently loaded 430, just now need to be a good brother and steer her away from an overpriced German when other than HUD, she can have more for less.

Anyone got stories and experience with both, so I can lead her in the right direction?

Thanks

No stories, but it sounds like you want your sister to only like the same things as you do. Has she driven your car and said the same thing about it, as she did about the BMW? Not trying to start a debate here, just options. I used to give a seminar on how so many people spend a lot of their lives trying to convince people to become a clone of themselves.

Currently, she probably won't get either for too much of a good deal, in case you haven't been tracking the car market lately.

Not entirely, its her decision at the end of the day, more she's one to check a car or two and call it a day

I know how insane things are, my 6/28 build became a 7/19 and now it's a 8/9. At least Ill get my Bronco this year

I have owned a number of BMWs and I would pick one over a Mustang if the rear seat was bigger. They feel lighter, quicker and better balanced. Overall quality is much better, especially the paint. But, she doesn't need the AWD in Florida. It adds complexity and reduces suspension travel in the front end.
