It will obviously get more interesting next generation. News leaked that the SS top will weigh a mere 55 pounds and the will have structural rigidity nearing the normal SS.

I dont know how the SS can manage a 55 pound top and at this point I think it has to be a typo. If its accurate I will stop by a chevy dealership to see exactly what type of materials they are using to accomplish this engineering feat...

Agree..no clue what type of magic and or cost would associated with a 55 pound convertible top...


In addition the SS vert is supposed to have the same legroom as the coupe. People that went to the unveiling are saying there is NO legroom in the back even if short people are sitting up front....
