I ran 12.8 with Torrie's tune, Airaid and wheels and tires. This was one of his very first tunes (December of 2014) so I am sure things have changed. I am pretty confident it would have gone 12.5 or better with an intercooler. The stock intercooler just killed it.

Mike
That's damn good. That looks pretty close to my current mod list. Are you auto or manual trans? I hope I have a similar result from Torries unleashed tune.

With what you have listed, sounds like you are still using the stock intercooler. On radials I would place your time around the 12.8 to 12.9 range on straight 93 pump. What did your car run stock?

My best was a 13.9 in stock form and yes I am still on the stock intercooler. Intercooler is next on my upgrade list just trying to decide which one to go with.

For the fellow manual trans ecoboost owners what rpm are you launching at after tune and bolt ons. I am planning on trying 20psi in the NT05R's

You will do better with a bias ply tire and a manual trans. Manual trans + drag radial and violent launches = driveline breakage.

Just chiming in to repectfully point out that the 'track' and the 'strip' are totally different. Personally I'm more track oriented so my eyes lit up when I saw this thread title lol. Either way goodluck next time you go to the strip! My best launch advice is to pretend your racing for pinks against your the most annoying person you know lol

We call the dragstrip "the track." I am 46 and I don't think I have ever really used the word "strip," that is more of my dad's generation.

Fair enough but doesn't that terminology seem counter intuitive? Considering dragstrip has the word strip in it. Not to mention the distinction between both styles of racing they separately embody. I know this may be nit-picking to a degree but I don't go to the bar and order a beer with the assumption that the bartender knows I mean whiskey on the rocks.
