You're a v8 homer get over yourself and realize this cars potential.I don't know why it bothers you so much these cars will run in the 12's with a tune,drag radials may be needed but not necessary with the right tune. Check out jlp's video in the turbo section.... I have had many turbo cars and some na v8. I like modding and power could care less how many cylinders it takes.i had a stock turbo 12 sec full interior daily driven 4 banger in 03,didn't do anything crazy .Its not like anyone's saying it'll run 11's (although livernois did lol) but anyhow a 12 is not that big of a deal.

You just don't get it:frusty:if both are capable drivers a tuned Eco WOULD be faster. Stock as it sits no,unless his buddies aren't great drivers and he is.

That jlp had a 50/50 mix.Thats also a mid 12 way faster than he'd need to be,and who cares that's the beauty of a modern turbo car a splash of fuel and a map switch and you've got an animal when you need it. With Just a tune it is possible to hit 12's on 93.why don't you get informed and go look at some tune only Dyno numbers.there isnt alot right now because the cars new but tunes are starting to show up. Drift office has some great tune numbers as well as others.Look at the power numbers it shouldn't be that hard to understand.
Right now there aren't a whole lot of modded Eco's out there due to the fact it's only been out a few months and the time of year.There will be plenty of tune only 12 sec cars soon enough.i dealt with people just like you back in 02/03 who said it took more mods than it does to hit 12's because that's what the masses regurgitated on the Internet.

Y'all are setting up the op to get embarrassed. Using best case scenario on his side and assuming his buddies are $ hit for drivers lol. Mod for mod a 335 or 350z will run and hide from him in a hurry. Even modded a stock 335i shows him the taillights, going by real world times eb's are posting with tunes. The 2.3 makes for a nice sporty entry level motor, not designed to run with those cars listed.

Stock for stock yes your right its a loss. Mod for mod yes in the 335i's case a loss.Modded eb vs other cars stock he wins given equal drivers.
Nobody's getting setup for anything he's not modded so he knows the outcome unless his buddies can't drive. It doesnt take much at all to blow your time and acceleration in a short 1/4 race. nobody knows for sure the driving skill but it wouldn't be best case vs garbage driver that's for sure.
I don't put a lot of stock in user "real world" times at this point. Not a large enough sample size as well as I see modded cars running the same 0-60 as I did bone stock in less than ideal conditions. I've seen gt's run slower than the above cars so you never know.

The 335 is a crap shoot, but for the most part those things move out. Mike ran 12.8 in his tuned EB with a tire on 93 octane, so lets not pretend it can't be done.

my cousins 2010 GT and friends 370z, yes its a 2009 370z but nothing has changed since then other than a revised front bumper and wheels. The Z in the video also had the performance pack.

I've driven the Z in the past and feels the slowest of the 3 cars I mentioned earlier. It has 270lbs of torque and no lsd also 225/45/18 in the front and 245/45/18 in the back all season tires. I will keep you guys posted on the outcome, hopefully I can get a video out of it.
