I also wonder if anyone has experimented with mixing 2 different brands of mufflers at the rear to create a balanced sounding exhaust. Kind of like how a train whistle works. A little bit of everything but not too much of one tone.

Definitely try to get a driveby. That is one of the best ways to show off an exhaust.

Monday, I'll be getting a custom Y-pipe, and 2 generic Magnaflow straight through exhaust, along with 4" chrome tips installed. The whole set up will be similar to the MF part# 19097. The total cost for all parts and installation, $500. The best part is, the shop will let me hear the exhaust prior to completion, to ensure I still want it. I will be getting the resonator deleted regardless though. As soon as things are done, I will get a video posted.

Try MAPerformance. The competition exhaust is $760 through them and I've seen it for more than $900 at other places. I'm sure the street series is cheaper
