Hey Team,

Are all diff's that are available in the EB limited slip? I've had a look around but could only find something saying the 355 was limited slip but nothing either way in regard to other ratios.

Cheers

Everything is limited slip except for the gt performance package which is torsion or whatever it's called.

Clutch, like they've been for a long time.

Wrong. Sorry, but your opinion doesn't mean much since you've exhibited that you know not of what you speak.

Nothing wrong with a Trac-Lok, they have been around for a long time, work ok, easy to rebuild and are one of the lower priced units.

DR, if it isn't positive enough engagement for you, just change out the spring.

So doing some research it appears the the trac-lok is a clutch type dif, I've only ever had cars with torsen type diffs, How well do they lock up?

The tag on mine indicates it is a LSD not Torsion, I think the Torsion is only in the GT PP, which also gets a cast Iron center section. The EB get the Aluminum housing

My understanding is that LSD is the broader category, basically meaning it has something to keep it from being an open slip, while not being completely locked all the time.
I think the V6 and non PP ecoboost have an open slip, the PP ecoboost has a clutch based LSD w/20% lockup/ratio(not sure the exact term) and the GT PP was a torsen diff but I'm not sure the ratio.

Every mustang comes with LSD standard. PP GT gets a torsen diff while every other model gets a Trac-Lok.

EB PP track rat...
Again, its not a traction lock type LSD. trac lock is old garbage.

It is a clutch type lsd, and as far as I have seen any taken apart, its two clutchs on either side, so probably 20-40% lockup. I am looking for a junkyard diff or take-off diff to see if the old bmw trick of adding an extra set of plates adds lockup to 60% for track use.
