Thats BS! I would have simply refused Delivery. I want the Cash Rebate Incentives when I close on the Deal. I`m not into waiting for mailed Rebates that may or may not arrive. The Dealerships have phone numbers and direct "Links" to clear up hiccups in the Incentive Programs (before) you drive off the lot.

Normally I would agree. However in this case I was deployed at the time so my wife took delivery for me and Ford was closed for the holidays so they couldn't clear up the confusion on the program.

I know a couple people have had the dealer tell them they will get a check for the $750 instead of taking it off the price of the car. Anyone know how long it takes to receive the check. We took delivery 23 December and still waiting. Dealer says they are going to send it as soon as they receive it from Ford...
I got it off the price. Congrats Phil! Glad you got your car before you were geriatric :p

I second the spoiler delet, Phil. Looks fantastic without :D

I must admit, I`m already considered "geriatric" since if I reach April, I will actually become 7 decades old. It was a present for myself. Either do something life threatening and stupid and purchase a Harley Davidson Sportster and end up crippled in a long term care facility or something perhaps equally stupid but a bit safer and purchase a Race Red Convertible. I decided to go with (4) Wheels)! LMAO:D

I have both - enjoying both though my wife doesn't want to ride on the back of my Harley anymore. Says until I get a bigger bike, she's happy with just the convertible.

I used to ride...still have my endorsement...but people around here are terrible drivers and I value my life more than the excitement of riding. I'll take the convertible for the sunny days...biggest downside in the comparison is the fuel mileage

Hello all.. I have a EAA membership (Joined Jan 7th) but cannot get the 750 off anymore. Does anyone have one that they can spare? I am hopefully purchasing a 15 Mustang Ecoboost in the near future.

It's specific to you and only valid before the expiration date unfortunately

My dealer couldn't get the $750 certificate to work. Thanks to the helpful members posting the e mail address for the Incentive Protection I forwarded the information to my dealer and he copied me in on the e mail he sent, looks like I'm good to go on the $750.

All Dealerships have a dedicated phone number to call and rectify issues with Program and Cash Back Incentive problems. I would highly suggest having your Dealership take care of this business (before) you take Delivery of your Vehicle rather then awaiting the "Tooth Fairy" to possibly deliver your promised Check by Mail at some future date. As Holiday Inn use to say, "The Best Surprise is (No) Surprise".

FYI to everyone, My dealer used all the info I and others provided in here and I got the full 1250.00 in rebates. We could only use one of the 750.00 incentives since the x-plan one and the Private Customer cash do not work together, but that was to be expected as others had already run into the same issue. There was no backdating of the sale or anything. They registered my deal for the Incentive Protection Program and then their was some additional incentive paperwork to fill out and initial (two papers). Easy Peasy.

I provided my dealer with the information you gave me but they still ended up backdating the paperwork a couple of days. Oh well, I got the $1,250 at the end.

Glad it worked out for you as promised (after) the expiration date of the Program. I`m a bit less trusting in (promises) substituted with an "apology". Despite assurances, sometimes folks simply fall through the crack, so to speak. I had my P & S Agreement Dated and Signed on Fri Jan 2, 15` and drove my 2015 Mustang Convertible home the following Sat Jan 10, 15`. Sure my Delivery date shows 1/2 and I did lose 8 days of my Warrantee but I locked in the $1250 Cash Incentives not having to rely on "He said or She said". Funny thing, after my Trade In Allowance of $8500 and the additional $500 of Sales Tax Saving, including my pre-arranged 36 month 15K Loan I was still short $7792 . It was after 1:00 PM that Sat and my local bank was already closed. The Finance Manager said, no problem. They did the Tag/License/Insurance Card Transfer and said take it home with the Top Down since it was a Sunny Day. I told them I would return the following Tues with a Bank Check for the balance by noon. They didn`t have to send the Dogs out looking for me.

I'm confused--- which $750 incentive did you use? Did you use the $750 car brochure incentive, or the EAA $750 incentive?

You may have just confused a lot of people on here, because the $750 car brochure incentive CAN DEFINITELY be used with X-Plan--- I can take a picture for you of the fine print if you need proof.

I didn't join EAA, because like many other people, we thought that it was pointless because we would get our cars WELL PAST 1/5 or 1/6 (or whatever it was) when the EAA $750 incentive expired, and we read in many places on here you only received the incentives that were valid when you purchased the car at delivery at the dealership....this was well before this purchase protection thread that started on 12/29.

I still plan on using X-Plan (MCA) plus the whatever $500-off scheme is, plus my $750 car brochure incentive coupon to get to having $1250 off.

Please clarify if you can, because these cutesy names for Private Cash/Special Cash/Martian Cash/WhatThe Cash are really making things hard to follow when they are not defined anywhere. :tsk:

It doesn`t make any difference what Cash Back or Program Incentive you use along with your X-Plan PIN# regardless of who issued your PIN# just as long as its still current/active and in you or an immediate Family Members name. All these different $750 Cash Saving can usually be stacked up and used along with the formally "Dream Big" $500 Cash Back or current "Switch" $500 Cash Back Programs. Almost (no) $750 Incentive or Cash Back Programs can typically be added or stacked together. Most are limited to a (max) of $1250 Cash Off Incentives in addition to using their X-Plan PIN# savings. If you take the $500 "Switch" Cash Savings, you forfeit the promotional discounted Ford Credit APR Loan Rates. If you got great credit with a 800 FICA Score, the $500 should exceed the savings in the reduced APR which you could find at perhaps a very slightly higher rate elsewhere. Depending on the amount borrowed and the length of the loan, the $4 to $6 a month savings is not worth giving up the extra $500 Cash Discount.
