Your correct, Dealerships seldom if ever get a sneak preview of the next Incentive Programs until the day (following) the expiration of the old ones. Could be better, the same, or worse. Financing at .9% for 36 Months through Ford Credit or 1.9% for 48 months is pretty cheap. Rather then gamble that they will reduce Financing to Zero % for 36 or 48 months, I`d rather lock in .9% for 36 months on 1/5. I`m not going to chance leaving $750 plus $500 "on the table) for a total of $1250 comes 1/6. You can`t be too smart. I`ll take the sure deal on 1/5 and forfeit a week of Warrantee coverage. Been there / Done that.
I was thinking you got a choice between the lower APR and the $500 rebate? It appears they are separate "offers" on their website.

I have heard that it is an either/or thing on another forum but I think that was just speculation. I am pretty sure quite a few have gotten the financing and the Dream Big Cash but I am not positive.

I see the fine print on the website now:

Some offers may be used in combination with other offers. Please see your dealer for details.
I'll have to check with my dealer...might be a good idea for me to do 48 month for 1.9%, which is slightly better than USAA gave me (2.49% for 12-60, 2.75% for 72)

The 36 and 48 month APRs are both great deals although check your local Credit Unions as well. Credit Unions usually have great rates.

Just got off the Phone with Ford Marketing and was told that my Special X-Plan Program Code# for $750 Discount can be used along with the Dream Big $500 discount along with the .9% or 1.9% 36 or 48 month Ford Credit Financing. P & S Agreement must be signed no later then the close of business 1/5. On 1/6, it could be a whole new Ballgame, for better or worse.

For those of us that anticipate our Vehicle`s hitting our respective Dealerships within the next 14 days + -, I think it makes good sense to lock everything up this coming Monday, 1/5. Why gamble on leaving $1250 (on the table) or loose out on .9% Financing for 36 months. As they say, "Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is but a Mystery".

Hey does anyone know if the EAA rebate works if you are NOT using X-Plan pricing? Has anyone tried it successfully?

Just ordered a new convertible...Sales Manager assured me that as long as the EAA eCertificate was received by Ford before the cutoff date, Ford would give the incentive.
I was worried because my car wouldn't get to the dealer probably before the end of February.
I was worried because the EAA deadline was Jan 3-5, 2015. With the factory closed for two weeks, and the Ford Offices closed on Thursday and weekend, I wasn't certain if it would go through in time.

Perhaps Ford has a different Incentive Policy with EAA but Programs and Incentives issued by Ford Marketing "end" on the expiration date of the offer, No Exceptions. That date is documented on the Purchase and Sale Agreement and your Warrantee begins on that date regardless if your actually drive your Vehicle off the Lot days or weeks later. Hope your Sales Manager is right for your sake.

EAA rebate date extension...

Another Forum member got an email from Ford Marketing stating that
even tho' the EAA deadline is Jan 3-5, 2015, as long as the order was sealed via the dealership before the deadline, Ford would acknowledge the incentive.
There was some verbiage about 'the rebate would be activated' through a separate Ford plan. I printed it out and brought it to my dealer when I submitted my order.

All that matters is that both (you) and your (Dealer) are on the same page and when its time to take Delivery, there is no "surprise".

Yes they end but they are protected as long as you ordered prior to them expiring. As I have confirmed multiple times with the department that actually issues the programs. The fact that it is EAA has nothing to do with it. Everyone I have spoken to at Program HQ says the same thing, Yes they still expire but the total amount of incentives that were available at time of order is protected. I didn't specifically ask about the Dream Big promo or the Financing APR but I gave them my Program numbers for the EAA incentive and my Loyalty Cash incentive (both 750.00) and was told they both fall under the protection umbrella. When I contacted the Marketing department I was told the same thing that when they expire they expire. When I countered with what I had been told by Program HQ I got a reply that they do have a number to call and that HQ would know more about that than they would. Take that for what you will,I am sure I could get an entirely different answer if I called them again.

Having said all that, anyone thinking of waiting to see if it works should contact the Program HQ with any questions they may have to satisfy your trust or lack of trust in the Incentives Protection program. I am not sure why the department that issues the Incentives would make up a policy that didn't exist but whatever; Each to their own. I am satisfied with my inquiries and the answers I have gotten and will use the Incentive Protection program. I am not signing paperwork and closing a deal until the car is here. My financing is locked in until February and as I said, my sales rep has motivation to get these incentives as well. Your mileage may vary. I will let everyone know the outcome and perhaps it will help those buyers in the next round of incentives.
