FYI for any EAA members or anyone hoping to use the 750.00, I sent the following email to their customer help:

Hi,
I am an EAA member and have received my 750.00 Ford eCertificate which expires on 1/05/2015. I have an issue however; I ordered my car a couple of months ago but due to slow downs at the Ford plant and the holidays my car will not arrive until 1/12/2015 at the earliest. Is there anything I (we) can do to preserve this eCertificate? Thanks for your time.

And got the following response:

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your email. Since you have generated your eCertificate during the program period, your rebate of $750 will be protected despite the delayed delivery of the vehicle.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,

I have followed up asking them if I am clear on the fact that I can use my eCertificate after 1/5/2015 and am waiting on a response.

I got this response after asking for more clarification:

Hello Michael,

The eCertificate will still expire, but because you were eligible for that rebate at time of order, it is protected under a different program called Order Protection/Incentive Protection.

This program ensures that you receive the same amount in incentives at time of delivery that you qualified for at time of order. The name of the offers may shift little, but the program protects the amount you were eligible for, not any one specific program. The $750 EAA incentive is a direct offer that is included in that amount that is protected.

We hope this provides more clarification for you.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,

Is that someone from EAA or from Ford? That's a strange e-mail they have...

Ford. They are From Ford Program HQ, which I gather puts together all these incentive programs.

Ford. EAA has nothing to do with the coupon use process, etc.
Cool...wasn't sure. The OP first sentence made it sound like he was talking to EAA. :D

I went ahead and signed up, and got my certificate. Thanks for the legwork OP! Hope my car will be at my dealer this week, but if not I will take your e-mail in and make sure they honor my eCert!

Sorry, I was specifically referring to the EAA eCertificate but after initial investigation I discovered they handled all programs. Happy to do the legwork on this one!

If your Vehicle is "In Transit", and expect delivery very soon, I`d lock in the Purchase & Sale Agreement as of 1/5 just to be sure. I`d rather give up a week or 10 days of Warrantee Coverage using 1/5 as the Vehicles Delivery Date rather then argue or fight later for the $750 Cash Rebate and additional $500 Ford Credit Big Deal" Financing Rebate". The best surprise is (no) surprise.

Any idea when/if Ford/EAA will issue a new eCertificate after the present 1/5/15 cutoff?
I found out that Ford/EAA has been issuing eCertificates for the past six years, but not when the next one will be issued.

My sales guy already called the number he has for incentive protection and got the thumbs up so hopefully that stays true. He has a dog in this fight too since he knows if I lose my incentives that I will beat him up on price. I really don't expect delivery very soon anyway. My car is inching slowly my way but it stops often not to mention who knows how long it will take once it hits new Orleans to get to the dealership.

No clue. No one really knows what will be on the table on 1/6.

Your correct, Dealerships seldom if ever get a sneak preview of the next Incentive Programs until the day (following) the expiration of the old ones. Could be better, the same, or worse. Financing at .9% for 36 Months through Ford Credit or 1.9% for 48 months is pretty cheap. Rather then gamble that they will reduce Financing to Zero % for 36 or 48 months, I`d rather lock in .9% for 36 months on 1/5. I`m not going to chance leaving $750 plus $500 "on the table) for a total of $1250 comes 1/6. You can`t be too smart. I`ll take the sure deal on 1/5 and forfeit a week of Warrantee coverage. Been there / Done that.
