My tuner sent me an E85 tune that I have not tried yet, does anyone know for sure if it's safe to run the car on E. (assuming that I have tested the ethanol and it is truly E85). My tuner claims that i will gain roughly a 30 HP gain, I have a 5 inch CAI and Roush exhaust. I have seen some forums but none answering my specific questions, Is it rougher on the engine? Will it deteriorate my fuel lines? And does anyone have any advice regarding this topic? Thanks!

Your tuner is not conspiring against you. Load the E up & let her rip. Preferably from a pump that states %70 minimum. I ran into one of them %58-%85 a few weeks back in a different city. Car ran just fine, but you can tell the difference. Winter blend E85 should be running out soon.

Some say to run a tank of normal fuel through the car (with the correct tune) periodically. Also 'they' say to increase your oil change interval.

Otherwise it works great. Just test your local stations so you know if you're getting flex fuel <E70, or E70, or E85, or what. Stations near me are solid E85 all the time (except that one time they blew up a couple cars when one station too delivery of the wrong fuel the E85 storage tank by accident)

Get the E85 app and read the comments. Some of these stations don't have nearly close to 85% E. I have a Procharger D1-X with Fore Innovations fuel system and only run E85 so it's really important to have a station that can provide over 70%.

I also bought a $13 tester on Amazon to see where the ethanol level is. I fill up at the same station, over 70% every time.

I've had my car on E for a long time no issues yet.

I've got a Livernois Flex tune here in Chicago for 2 winters. I run 93 all winter and E70 all Summer.
Car is a different animal with E!
