Here's a quick validation pull from Monday after getting the headers bolted on. I've got it tuned on E85 by Lund after I put on the Fore fuel system. It put down 753 rwhp and 566 rwtq so it feels pretty stout - the pull was to about 7400 so had I ramped up higher I'm sure that HP would continue to roll up. As far as the E85 conversion goes - It runs smoother than pump gas and the torque is great for daily driving - track days probably won't be an option until March or April here with the weather lately but I'm curious how it runs. Dyno sheet shows the pull after the header install and the other red line is simply my last 93 pull (which was before the headers / E85 so really not any apples to apples comparison but shows the progress I'm making with the car anyhow.) Both pulls are corrected but the first one it was about 50 degrees in December and the other is at 40 degrees Monday.
These Stainless Power catted headers sound fantastic. I don't know why anyone would knock them. They look sick too. I may grab a set of off-road midpipes - I thought overall they'd be too loud for cold starts and the HOA and not annoying my neighbors with kids etc., but they're nice at start up and idle. They SCREAM at WOT obviously. Love it. Can't wait to put the top down and really hear how it sounds around town. And installing the Fore fuel system? Man - talk about quality components. One shot install with no leaks or issues with everything I needed in the box. I love it when a plan comes together lol
And to anyone worried about cold starts and E85 - at least with a return style fuel system - it's been between 18 degrees F and 60 degrees F here since the install and it starts just like it was on pump gas. I test my E85 and it's right at 85% at the station I'm using. I made a video of a couple cold starts but the audio with an iPhone camera just isn't that exciting. It's got a deeper rumbling tone. It's pretty fun to listen to. Anyway - progress!
