For me i need to know someone is gonna take the time to get my MAF right on the initial gas tune.
Most would use the GT350 cal from Ford and this is very good. Yes it can be improved but again this takes several revisions. Not many people are going to pay for this service as it takes a lot of time from both the tuner and the owner of the car.

Mine is almost perfect but it took me several weeks of logging and averaging.

My advice is to either learn to tune, get a local dyno tune where you can watch and ask questions or trust somebody.

The interesting thing is for lots of us its probably not too big of a deal for the months youre running E. If the tune is generally safe, and what comes out of the pump is always in that 55-75 type range its probably good to go. For me i need to know someone is gonna take the time to get my MAF right on the initial gas tune. I have a Soler TB and swapped to the GT350 intake tube with a Airraid oiled blue filter. Im sure I am flowing 5- 10% more air or something like that.
You're running into the dilemma that many people find themselves in. Essentially you need to decide to put all of your trust in a tuner, despite endless mountains of evidence stating that they don't deserve it.

They wont tell you how they do things, just that they do. The best thing you can do is get a feel for the tuner's general methodology. What they like, and how they approach builds. Truth be told, on a platform as big as this, nobody is making individual custom tunes for cars. They make one "golden" tune and sell it with minor tweaks for the different mods people have. They do a few spot checks to ensure things are operating how they expect and send you on your way.

Just read around, you'll find someone you like. If you don't, you can learn to self tune it, it isn't super hard but takes a bit of effort over a few months to a year or so.
