If it really bothers you find a happyjet, I mean a Dynojet and you will be fine, since it will probably read over 400whp.

Mustang dyno can be 11-15% different then a DynoJet, in some cases 40-50WHP difference.

It is not so much the e.t. (the clock), but the trap speed that will tell you where you are at hp wise. Trap speed is much, much less dependent on driver mod. Especially with an auto.
Oh, you're talking at the strip; I've never drag raced. But I've run rallies where, on a four-minute course, two drivers driving the same exact car on the same course on the same day can be ten seconds off each other (especially with dirt / gravel sections).

Dude don't be worried! You were on a mustang dyno. Don't worry. Try a dynojet and you will be happy with your numbers. You made 342 stock at the wheels. Add 20% drivetrain loss with an automatic transmission and you are at 342*1.2=410 hp. That means a mustang dyno showed you are only down 25hp which is totally normal. I wouldn't ever use a mustang dyno to get full hp/torque numbers. They are much better for tuning purposes or just checking if your hp has increased with mods.

Ya. The trap speed in the 1/4 mile is pretty good indicator as to your horsepower

No lift shifts / faster shifts?
And much more consistent and virtually no driver error concerns.

I was thinking about going there for something else but how much do they charge for a couple dyno pulls?

Your math is a bit off. If you want to assume a 20% drive train loss it's 342/.8 = 427.5 flywheel hp. OP your numbers are fine. You should be more concerned with the change from the tune/Cai then the actual numbers. Ive had many different cars on many different dynos from 380rwhp on dyno jets to 1225rwhp on Mustang dynoes. They all read different, it's just a tuning tool.

Numbers are cool but how does the car feel after the tune?
