Most people are surprised it's not supercharged. Other than that, I've been told my car is undesirable because it's a Tech..... even been basically told that on this forum....

I get asked if it's supercharged, too. I'm not too surprised by some of the questions from non-owners. It's when owners have everything bass ackwards that it really amazes me.

Yea, that would be funny. I only talk to guys that own them on here. Never seen another one on the road around my neck of the woods to talk to them.

Theres a good amount of them here in the bay area, but I have only seen two in the wild in the past year.

I get the Supercharged question all the time with such enthusiasm from people. Then, most look disappointed and suddenly think lesser of it when I tell them it isn't. I don't get worked up, it's a compliment to the presence of the car that they even asked. There was a day I didn't follow all this either. Expressions change after I start it up and drive away though. I have GT500 owners tell me they are jealous of the sound coming from mine.

The funniest stuff I've heard has come from folks at shows telling their buddies about the car. There's always a guy in the group that knows everything, so he'll be the one to tell his friends how the GT350 is supercharged and the flat plane crank got its name from the airplane engine they modeled it after. Seriously...

I haven't gotten anything stupid yet, but I get compliments on the car several times a week. Sometimes the attention can get annoying. On the highway once, two younger guys in a IS300 were running next to me, taking pictures of the car, waiving, and giving me thumbs up.
