Good day all,

I was driving my 2016 Ecoboost Mustang (it has ~85,000 miles) and noticed that the check engine light was on. So I pulled over and plugged my tuner and it read the following DTC combination:
P018C
P0141
P008A
I had a similar problem 2 months ago with a slightly different set of DTCs and changed the purge valve which solved the problem.

Did someone get into a similar situation with this set of DTCs?

Have you replaced the the low pressure fuel sensor?

1. P018C=Fuel pressure sensor B circuit low.
2.P0141=B1S1 O2 sensor heater circuit.
3.P008C=Fuel cooler pump control circuit/open.

I have no advice as to a path to fix these, without putting it on a good scanner and running some tests......my first thought would be to replace the first 2 (ie fuel pressure sensor and O2 sensor) but considering that all 3 list circuit issues, that may be replacing things needlessly, should it actually be an electrical/circuit issue.

I looked into it but I haven’t replaced it, as the symptoms are different
What are you talking about???? You are throwing codes that are directly related to the faulty version of that sensor....

Only one code out of three matches with that sensor Adam is talking about and its “P018C”: Fuel pressure sensor B circuit low. Which is a code I also had up 2 months ago before I replaced the purge valve and it cleared out. Correct me if I were wrong, I think that this code and sensor are not the primary issue and was triggered by another problem.

The one code that is the most concerning is the P018C, that code IS DIRECTLY RELATED to the faulty fuel sensor. That sensor needs to be replaced no question about it.

It is possible that the sensor tripped a code when you first had the check engine light and after a new drive cycle (about 500 miles) it can reset itself if the sensor didn't trigger it again, but regardless that sensor is a known issue an needs to be dealt with, it's not something you want to ignore and hope that you'll be ok, especially since the sensor is a cheap and easy fix.

You are absolutely right about this point. I just replaced the low pressure fuel sensor and retuned the car. Although the check engine light came back up with the same codes, its worth changing the sensor.
Can you think of another think that might be causing the issue?
