2015 Ecoboost PP manual
Not sure if this should go here or issues/repairs as this is on a tuned Ecoboost. Has anyone else seen the code P008A? I've been getting P04DB off and on since I got the PCV TSB completed last year but the P008A just started showing up in the past month or two.

The CEL comes on for a few days to a week or two then goes off for the same time period. From what I can see the AFR looks good still. Even more recently I started getting U0212 but I don't think that's related. I'm worried about bringing it to the dealer for these since I have full bolt ons with an aftermarket tune and an aftermarket head unit. I've brought the car to my local dealer 3 times for warranty work so far and he's always pretty weasley about me being on the hook for labor if they think it's due to my mods.

If anyone has any ideas, or has seen something like this it would be appreciated.

Dealer can't make you pay unless they can PROVE that your mods caused the problem:cheers:

That's not entirely accurate. It won't be the dealership that denies your warranty claim, it will be the factory. If the factory decides to deny your claim, it will be up to you to force the issue. The law says the factory can't deny a warranty claim due to a modification unless the modification is what caused the problem. If the factory decides a given modification justifies denial of a claim, it will be up to you to prove otherwise.

In other words, the factory does not have to take you to court to prove a modification caused an issue with your engine in order to deny a warranty claim; it will simply deny the claim and leave it up to you to decide whether to bring a suit or not. From what I've read here, the factory is pretty liberal with warranty claims. It will have to be pretty obvious that a modification caused the problem before the factory will deny a claim.
