Anyone had a axle repaired from DSS lately?? They have had one of mine for 6 weeks and still hasn’t been fixed... Is that normal time frame for a repair? I’ve called weekly for updates and I feel like I’m getting the runaround.

They are so slow. THey've had my axles for 4 weeks already... and when I called they had lost them. They did find them but need more time to complete the rebuild.

I have a bad feeling mine has been lost too. Very disappointed in the customer service.

I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience with DSS. I used them back in 2013 when I bought one of their aluminum driveshafts for my ‘13 GT, but after reading A LOT of bad reviews on their current offerings and poor customer service, I won’t be purchasing any of their products again. Great customer service is what anyone running a business must have, or it will be a matter of time before they go belly-up. I hope you get your half shafts back soon and they last you a long time @JG15YOTE.

They won't reply to my emails anymore. Starting to wonder if I'll never get my axles back.

Yeah, I saw someone on here has a set of DSS 800 HP half shafts for sale for $800. While it sounds appealing, it‘s also risky given all of the reported trouble and warranty related issues associated with this company.

Do you believe I paid $130 to have axle next day air to make a race Saturday and the half shaft won’t stay locked in differential.... New C clip and all...

I have put my stock axle, brothers 2020 stock axle and a DSS 800 in same side that all stay locked in.

Man! That definitely sounds like no one is working in their quality control department. That’s too bad. Hell, if they really wanted to stay in the game, they could purchase a pair of GForce axles, hire a metallurgist and thoroughly inspect/compare them to their half shafts and then make the much needed improvements. Based on all of the DSS failures I’ve read about, it’s clear something has gone and/or is majorly wrong in their operation.

DSS failures aren’t new - maybe new to the S550 crowd, but their failures aren’t just S550 specific, nor are they Mustang specific. Google “DSS axle failure” and you’ll see they have issues across all vehicle platforms, for years now - and that is public knowledge available through any online search.

Exactly. There 800DSS for example are complete junk. The CV's on the stock unit is stronger.
