Drop in air filter

I've run K&N filter too. You obviously know what your doing and that's great. But it's a known fact they can come over oiled from the factory and most people over oil them after cleaning. It may not be the filters fault, but the point is its easy to do and there can be issues. That combined with the fact they don't filter as well makes me reluctant to put one in my new GT. The placebo effect of having "a better flowing filter" just doesn't seem worth it to me.

I hear ya. Its your car and you gotta do what you feel comfortable with. I just had a K&N in my 15 GT with the Airaid MIT and it ran fine. And I never had issues with one. Good thing tho is that there are lots of choices for filters so you can't go wrong with whatever you choose.
