Love it, love it, love it!

I'm up your way in Feb at the NEC for 5 days, really want to get this done. Can you PM details please as I will need to work out logistics etc. I don't need my car for the entire time i'm there so this could work perfectly.

Well done mate, superb job and an awesome early Christmas pressie! :headbang:

Fortis is in Hayes, in London - not near the NEC. ;)

Must read thread properly next time :frusty:
Probably nearer to you though - so maybe not quite so painful to arrange. Wait, like me, on the day job and you're in and out. And poor. :)

Have you checked the DRL regs with an MOT tester?

I mention it because the rumour was that we don't get them over here due to white light being emitted to the side and you mentioned about not having the option to turn them off and resort to the stock DRLs.

That might come as a nasty surprise at MOT time. :(

Look damn good although I'm slightly disappointed at the lack of melted headlights. :D
I checked with my testing station next door to the office and he did not see a problem. He said there is a massive difference to the laws the new cars have to adhere to and what the mot test covers.

Now that's just 'one' tester from one testing station but guess where I will get mine tested?

Modurstang are also working on a version of this, although not sure if theirs are just DRLs or DRLs plus sequential turn signals. Worth calling Mike there to get the latest :)

(and Modurstang are closer to you)

Correct....and why it's much harder for an imported car to pass the IVA test that it is for subsequent MOTs.

(and by imported I mean like the older S197s were)

Yes. Visibility from the side is not a UK problem. These are the OEM Mondeo LED lights from the side. And the indicators are sequential

Good shout TT, will drop them an email but I can stay at my brothers which is an hour away from Hayes so not too bad.
