Random Question.

Over the year, I and my wife noticed a weird issue with the driver seat. Ill attach a video later.

Backwards it works completely fine. Lumbar too. BUT forward, you have to REALLY work to get it to work or move forward. Ive never heard or seen anything like this in my 30 years of life. To me, switch looks and seems fine? Nothing broken.

Has anyone had this issue?

I too have to use my body weight to “pull” forward as i adjust the seat forward…..does yours work fine if you adjust it forward without sitting in it? Mine goes forward just fine with no weight on it. I was thinking motor getting weak, but will follow this thread to see if perhaps someone else chimes in 🤔

I completely forgot to record a video and the Wife took the Mustang to work lol.

its when you are in the seat or not. Almost like the switch moving forward is just, stuck or not clicking.

Ah, your’s MIGHT just be the switch itself, not sure how difficult it is to remove, but perhaps just try to test it for continuity when operated in the affected direction. Could just be a simple switch changeout 🤞🏻
