That dimple is from too many refried beans.
^^^This. Obviously damage from a high pressure, medium velocity Tex-Mex fueled air biscuit. Good luck warranting that. :D

I think I've had that dimple....I'll be outside the car, lean in and place one hand on the driver's seat cushion for balance and reach across the car to say the glove box. Then pull back and presto...big dimple where I placed my hand.

Usually some more seat time got rid of it.

Mine is at 6000 miles and has a "dimple" in the middle-right side of the seat as if I have a fat wallet in my back pocket and I sit on it. My wallet actually ends up on the left side of my ass, so the dimple is not from the wallet. Though I'm sure the dealership will try to claim that. I'm going to be taking it in to get it looked at in a few weeks.

I have a similar dimple, except mine's further back and accross the whole seat. I also want to have my dealership take a look at it, but I doubt they'll do anything.

If you've kneeled on the seat cushion at any time to reach into the back seat, you'll get a dimple like that. Leather has no memory to speak of. Once you do it, it's there for the long haul. Kids standing on the seat cushion can do it as well.

Hi all,
My driver seat bottom cushion seems to be getting flat for a car with only 9000 miles on it.
Anyone else having this problem?

Hey guys,

Definitely bring your vehicles in to your Ford Dealerships and get them looked at. Once you make your appointments, PM me with your VINs, dealerships, mileage, full names, and best daytime numbers. I’ll get this escalated to the customer service managers for your areas.

What measures would a dealer take to correct this? While mine doesn't have the dimple, my GT convertible came with baggy leather on the drivers seat cushion. The picture is from a few minutes ago and the car currently has 800 miles on it. The depressions were there when I picked it up and have not changed since purchasing it last July.

I'm 6'5" and 235. I also have a 2016 Subaru Impreza with leather and the seat is smooth as glass.

I wanted a triple black 15 convertible and the dealer I got mine from actually went under invoice a little. I was happy also that they have a separate building for Mustangs only and the cars are kept indoors. What I failed to realize at the time was they had the top down all the time. After having the car for the first day, It finally dawned on me that the car had no new car smell. Probably from sitting for more than a month with the top down. That and the seat wrinkles. The Mustang building is quite a distance from the main building and people can just walk in there and there aren't salesman or employees in obvious attendance.

Who knows how the seat got saggy leather, maybe some kid stood on the seat.

Now I am jealous of your car and the dimple which I assume is coming from your balls. Everything in my world feels small now

Hello Dawg,

Unfortunately, I’m not a tech or an engineer and I’m not able to advise on what your dealer will need to do to address your concerns. Your first step will be to make an appointment with them and have your vehicle fully diagnosed. They will then advise you on what their next steps will be.

PM me with your info and I’ll escalate this for you as well.

My dimple was there when I got the car as well, though it sat at the dealer for about 6 months and had 58 miles on it when I bought it, so I don't know if it came like that from the factory.
