Hello!
I have owned a 2017 Mustang 5.0 since early 2024. A real pleasure on the roads over the past year!
I'm in France, this is an european mustang.

Recently, I have a strange lock problem on the driver's door: simple lock doesn't work but double lock works fine... (double lock for for locking central console and interior handles). The passenger side has no issues. The locking issue is present regardless of locking mode (with key fob, handle or buttons inside).

I did several tests:
- My battery voltage is ok and the locking issue is even present when the car is running (with the alternator working)
- BCM fuses #24 and #3 are ok
- No cut wires at driver's door harness

I got the wiring diagram from a repair manual for a 2016 model (I imagine similar to the 2017 model). But I don't understand how the double lock can work and not the single one... Is 12v still applied via connector C525-7 to lock the door? Maybe just the BCM closes lock relay longer for double lock?
If you have any ideas, I'm interested.

Thanks in advance!
Simon

Thanks for your help.

It may be a problem with the connector (but on the door lock actuator). I will disassemble the door panel and check the connectors and the voltage coming in when locking.
