I tried to use line lock the other day. It was really just out of curiosity to see if it works haha. A message came up on my little LCD screen in the gauge cluster and it said something like "line lock unavailable, see owners manual." anyone know what this is or have this problem? I opened up the owners manual and it didnt help at all.

if you took your foot off the brake at any time it gives that message. At least that is what happens to me. If I the brake pedal pressed through the engagement process(when pedal pushes back up against your foot) it works fine.

Thanks for posting this...I still cant get it.:headbonk: However, after the video there showed other YouTube and I clicked on one with a guy in a Orange GT at a dealer, and he does a massive Burn-out, but I swear he bangs his gear from 1st to second in the middle of the burnout. Is that even possible, or was I seeing things?

I don't own a GT but thought Id chime in. My buddy bought a GT, the problem you're having is because you're not holding the brake down firmly enough and for the entire time even after completing the initializing stage AND even while pushing the acceleration. So if you do as stated hold the brake down firmly the entire time and push the acceleration your timer should begin. And of course when feel your burnout is complete or your time has expired let off the brakes and your car functions as normal. It took us a while to forget it out too and looking at the manual or watching the videos didn't help.

You should end up with something like this. We were laughing because he went from a base Ford Focus to this GT and like I said previously had no idea what he was doing which made the end result so much more fun!

I'm still curious can you actually shift gears while doing it?
