Driven New F150...Uuugggg!!

Now I want one...Bad. I’m still driving my 2002 F150 I bought brand new. By the time I got to where I wanted a new truck (forgot how long ago that was), there was literally nothing out I wanted. Then the Raptor. Especially the current body style/3.5L. But, more than I wanted to spend and thus never considered it, much less test drive one.

Fast forward to today, my dad got a new Lariat, loaded. Spent the week driving it and I’ve never been this impressed with a vehicle in quite some time. That’s 5.0 and 10 speed is quite legit, but just all the options and layout of the truck is amazing. Drives amazing. Noam I can’t even imagine driving a new Raptor. Uuugggg. But, I’d keep my ‘02 and no down payment on a new Raptor would mean $1K a month. I don’t want that either. Anywho...just sharing.

just picked up a left over 19 with the 5.0 and 10 spd for my wife and i love that thing. super quiet but comfy and plenty of power. i honestly really enjoy it. the mustang is more fun but the f150 is up there.

I had a Platinum 3.5EB as a rental last month and really, REALLY was into that truck. I had a RAM Rebel as a rental prior.. both trucks 4x4, QC and pretty loaded. The Ford was light years ahead to me.

The thing is a riot between lights in sport mode with the 4WD engaged and the rear diff locked. it's silly. It would blow the doors off my Mustang in this scenario. I'm really tempted to slap on a blower and play sleeper,

You guys are not f@#$ing helping, LOL! I'd love to! I've been sleeping on it for ddaaaayyyyyzzz...I'm not even against a $1K a month payment, I just don't want to be quite that strapped right now. It's do-able, but would severely cut into my 350 parts wish list.

Yeah, pickups are so expensive now I wouldn't even consider buying a new one. I'll hang onto my 1999 F250 super duty for when I need to haul something.

I definitely agree with GT350 parts (or track days) >> buying an F150.
