Ok, which mode Normal/Sport+/Track is best and why? Plan on taking her to the drag strip this coming week for the first time.

It's a Automatic Transmission!

Put in track mode and turn off advance track. Also do not use the launch control because it does still use some form of stabilty contol.I use track mode because the throttle responce seems faster, which i really noticed after the procharger was on.

So have car in Track mode with advance track off. Then use the built in line lock to do a good burnout. With DRs can I just launch with gas paddle to the floor or will I have to feather it?

No,even with drag radials u dont want to hold it to the floor.Launch at about 4k rpms and if track is prepped good work your way up from their.U might want to get a 2step their not expensive at all, easy to hook up and then u can set your rpms to whatever u want and just hold the gas to the floor. If u fairly new to the track u might want to use the factory launch control,it lets u set the rpms from 3 to 4.5k rpms and hold the gas to the floor. That way u dont have to worry about looking at the rpms when staging.REAL IMPORTANT,if u use factory launch control when u put the pedal to the floor u have to do it quickly or the rpms will max out.Try praticing a few of these things before u get to the track, just to get the feel.

With drag radials start with psi at 18 or so, go around water and back in, slowly move forward out of the water, step hard on the brake and hit the throttle (or use line lock) til you see some smoke then let off and roll up. First pass wait for green and hit it. If it hooks then next time around hit the brakes and give it some gas up to 12-1400 and release the brake and hit it on green. Do this on sport plus with advance track off on D.

Its best to hold at a certain rpm and feather out the clutch on dr's but it is hard on your clutch.

Track mode maintains some advancetrac strategies. You want that off. Track mode is more for open track not drag racing.

And people keep talking about clutches lol!

What? Read the sentence, track mode maintains some advancetrac strategies, you want that off. As in you don't want any part of advancetrac working.

In trac mode mine disables traction control. I have plenty of logs showing tire spin with no torque management kicking in. Mine is the premium so on a basic Yes you have to disable advancetrac.

Dude your talking about two different things, yes u can turn off advance trac and trac control. But when it comes to the modes he is asking about,u have to be in either trac,snow/wet,normal or sport. When u put in trac mode it turns trac control off.But the car is in one of them modes.
