Remember when Ford offered a Drag Pack Option? Maybe not popular enough in today's market. But I'm thinking they could drop weight, reduce drag and make other changes. I track my GT350 but still miss straight line lower.

^^ appreciate the comments @kilobravo , that’s my baby! Love my 16’ 350 and can’t wait for my 500 but this will always be special. This is my barn find so to speak, other than minor mechanicals, water pump radiator, and such, it’s all original, paint included. I found it with 42k miles. Its been a preservation project. The Drag Package was a 3.90 rear gear with a 4 speed top loader, close ratio with auxiliary cooler.
You must have a rotisserie of bikini pics!!! Think I’m partial to the star’ed bikini girl though!

JB: It sounds like you stumbled upon a very special purchase with only 40k on her. That in and of itself is pretty amazing. But what impressed me the most was the paint and chrome. Roger on the old 3.90 rear end...I was a MOPAR fanboy back then and we all thought Ford had dropped the ball by not using 4.10 or 4.11 like the competition. <smiling>

Truly a gorgeous vehicle, dude.

For comparison, how I wish I had my favorite teenage ride now...here's a shot of her and you can see why I'm partial to the color of your Mustang. :-)

As for the babes, I get 'em from the Web. Not surprisingly, there are lots and lots of them. <grinning>

Back to "The Wait." <sigh>

PS. I brought "The Red Star" back just cuz you mentioned it. <very big grin>

Very nice. Brings back lots of memories.
On a side note I still have a set of 4:30 Ford gears. They were a Drag Pack option from Ford.

Cool car, I would need a street legal version. Alwasy a compromise but we have lots of club activities. That's why I got the GT350 and not the R. Track time is great but lots of other things to do.
