2000 miles on a 350-R. I had a 2018 and never an issue. How about the earlier models?

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Any warranty left? I know the 2016 cars have proven to be not prone to oil consumption issues and reliable. Still, I would not buy without a warranty and at this juncture you are probably looking at third party warranties, which I don't trust.

A couple of good friends of mine and I all bought 2016 R's with two of them being Base R's and the other one an Electronics Package car.

My other friend and I did not track our cars but again did not have any oil consumption issues or any other issues to speak of.

With respect to fit and finish, I have spoken to my other two buddies about this issue and wanted their opinion one of which now has a 2020 HEP R and in all cases we agree that the fit and finish on our 2016 R's was very good and better than some subsequent model years.

Having said that the 2015, 2016 and I believe some early 2017 cars had bumper sag therefore watch for that issue on this car but is a somewhat easy fix.

Hopefully the GT350 Owners Kit comes with the car and also very easy to verify matching numbers on the engine and tranny which of course could be also verified with an Oasis Report as well.

With this being a 2016 model I would suggest that the 5-year power train warranty has expired with many R's being built in the Fall of 2015 prior to shutting down production for the R's and resuming in late February/early March of 2016.

If you have some power train warranty time left that would defintely be a bonus!

Good luck and what color combination is this car?

I have questions about the roof of your house. What exactly is going on there? Is that a thing back east?

Itā€™s an old farm house I have restored. It was built in 1834 but I have added on to it as well.

You can buy a Ford ESP even if the factory warranty is gone.

My selling ford dealer claims the furthest theirs goes is 9 years in total date from production date. So in essence I purchased one that lasts till 2025 75k miles.

12-13 years is max depending on mileage. My 15 F350 just expired after 7 yr ESP, just renewed it for 5 more which was the max time. Again, depends on mileage, I only have 61k on it.

My 11 explorer had a 6yr/125k. Renewed it for 3 more years which was the max I could get length wise because it had almost 120k on it.

Is that a tech pack?

2016, IMHO, was one of those bulletproof years engine wise.

Looks great and tell us more - Tech Package? Private Party deal or Dealer? Looks to be in great condition by the images.

(Also, not to get off topic but cool back story on your home! 1834, thatā€™s wild and Iā€™ve always had an interest in vintage homes.)

Warranty is based on initial vehicle in-service date, NOT production date or model year. Sometimes these cars can sit for a while before purchase. Ask a dealer to run your VIN to find out what that date is.

If it is a tech, which im sure it is by the pic, try to find a track pack transmission for it. I wouldn't do one of those cooler rigs, I'd go full out and correct the only problem I see with having a tech. I hope you stole it and you have good times moving forward.

Based on the rear wing this is a Tech Package car.
