Door speakers + tweeter + crossover

So I've read lots of speaker threads but they all seem to drift to add an amp.

I want to replace my door speakers plus a crossover for new tweeters in pillar that run on factory amp.

That's all I want to at this time, so please make your recommendations

To start, you will have to publish your current system from Ford.

9 speaker system my mistake

Anything that is posted for the 12 speaker systems will apply to your 9 speaker system. The difference is the Subwoofer and the coaxial speakers in the back deck.
In the front, the systems are the same.
The only issue I've seen so far is the varying ohm ratings for the speakers (4 or 8).

So, lots of talk in lots of threads but I like specific listing of what speakers worked well. Maybe thats why places like crutchfield don't offer kits yet

Aftermarket speakers NEVER sound as good as you want off of a factory amp.

If you do this, get speakers with VERY HIGH efficiency ratings (93dB+).

Good luck finding someone who has done exactly what you want to do... hope someone has.

The link will take you to a location to buy an ACM programmer that will set your ACM to a flat eq level. This will also eliminate the time delay in the speakers that is sent out by the factory head unit.

That's the "T harness" for an external amp.
Don't want to add an amp, it already has one...

until somebody figures out how eq the head end and turn off the fake engine sounds I think speaker upgrades are on hold. The f150 forscan spreadsheet shows 9 different eqs and fake noise settings. The stuff has so complicated that the old idea of replace speakers with better ones is gone!
