Here's a map that will also help to clarify things.

I bought my GT350 in "Cow Death Camp" California, which is very close to "vegetables". I then drove 5 hours through "mostly something for driving through", "texas", up and over "mountains in the other direction" and in to "sigalert", "republicans", "classified" and finally arriving in "north shamu"
Ha-ha!!! I live and grew up in "Tech Stuff", but had to go all the way to Corn Husker country to get my car!

Oh yeah, looking at this one as I already have the battery packs:

I have this one!!! It's totally worth it!! Never tried it to dry the car though... might have to give it a whirl.

And you ow have your "Same Ole Sorry Ass Rams" back. 4 winning seasons in 25 years. You can have em.
Rams are for the Socal folks... we don't want them up here ;)

Speaking of the Super Bowl, low end tickets starting at $3600.00.
Also, the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose has cheap rooms for the low price of $5000.00 a night!!!! :eyebulge:
Thankfully parking is only ~ $100.00 on the muddy golf course across the street from Levi’s Stadium.

Thinking of watching from our 6th Floor balcony at work where I’ll have a great view of the GIANT JUMBO-Tron… or I’ll just stay at home and/or drive my dirty GT350 around town. ;)

I handwash my car every week, whoever said that washing your car in California is misinformed. Every city has their own regulations due to the drought. There are certain times where we are restricted from using water and other times we're allowed....to be honest, I wash my car whenever I want.

Cops have better things to do than respond to a person washing their car:lol:
My point is that you have beautiful weather to wash your car in. It's not practical at all to try to wash a car in your driveway in Minnesota January weather. Really any time between late October and late March you might as well forget it.

Just California haters who are angry that I get to wash my car any day of the week year long with our beautiful weather.
I don't hate California, but I could get annoyed at a Californian that scoffs because I don't want to wash my car myself once a week in below freezing weather. :)

Frankly, I probably should have stayed out of this thread. I'm more into driving cars than into polishing them lovingly. I bet it's been 15 years since I hand washed a car or waxed it or any of that stuff. I'd rather just drive it. Nowadays having a quarter mile long gravel driveway the thing is dirty before I can get anywhere, so I'm a lot less anal about my cars' appearance.

Grew up in sigalert, went to school in Hella, now a Hella Tech Stuff hybrid and hate it more and more daily
What the heck does "sigalert" mean? Anything like "giant stinky lake"?

I just use the gas powered blower and sometimes the compressor. People talk about oiling up the paint but I'm as anal as they come and I've never seen it...and mine smoked and runs rich as can be.

That map is awesome...I grew up in real Texas so I'll hold my CA comments. The weather is mostly great though!

up by me, we have a few touchless washes at shell stations that don't use guide rails!

my '13 gt clunked twice going to one of the better touchless in the area, must have been hitting part of the suspension or wheel but that was the end of that.

by "better" i mean that the spray power was lower and the dryers were larger diameter than what you usually see and air stream was more diffue ie) didn't push the hood or roof down ugh.

with the '16 i take it to the guideless but that airstream push my hood down freaks me out! so i quickly go through that.

California hating comments= Jealousy
You're wrong, at least for me. It's a choice. California is not the center of the universe like so many native Californians think.

Correct! That would be NYC. ;)

For all the things that make California great, there are almost just as many negatives about it. Mostly political & cost of living... which I believe originates from the political... so mostly political. :D

And very high crime, high state taxes, regulations, pollution, strangling congestion, long lines, high prices...and you get to pay 9% sales tax on top of high prices for everything. It's a freakin' zoo down there.

I grew up in California, went to 'SC, lived in MB. It ain't all that. But you keep hanging' on to that weather dude lol...
High crime? Yeah, I don't live in Compton or Inglewood or parts of Long Beach. Used to live in OC (some of the lowest crime in the nation) and moved into a house in a very safe neighborhood in LA county.

As for the others pay to play/some bad, so?

I didn't say California was for everyone, but the haters are hilarious.

My team is out of state, I could care less that they are here or that you no longer have an NFL team.

I wouldn't either if I was in your situation! My posts weren't toward you, just some of the trolls here.
