Doing a little upgrade to my clutch since I dropped the trans thi king I had a slave cylinder failure. Ended up being the plastic elbow that connects the clutch line to the slave cylinder. Plastic grommet cracked causi g the fluid from the line to leak inside of the housing out of the trans. So doing a few upgrades while I have the trans out. New clutch braided line and clutch kit upgrade.

Wow, interesting failure.

How was pulling the trans? Did you do it on a lift, jackstands?

What clutch are you replacing with?

Pulling it was fairly easy. Did it on a lift I run a shop in Brandywine MD. Waiting on the plastic elbow and grommet from Ford for the clutch fluid line. I will order my clutch kit on Monday still trying decide between the Exedy and McCloud stage 2. I'm still basically stock but plan on a few more upgrades in the future.

Do you have a part number for that plastic elbow?
