I went to my local dealer to get prices for the T-connector and also for the upper hose o-ring. T-connector was ok but the employee told me that I have to buy the complete upper hose as Ford do not sell the 0ring ?? WTF ?? I tought that was RTS1073 / BC3Z-8590-F but the person told me this is for the thermostat ???

Can someone please confirm the o-ring part number of this upper hose?

What number on that picture do you need? And what year is the car?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge Ford doesn't have a lower level service part o-ring for the quick connect fittings. I don't have parts catalog access so I can't look it up unfortunately.

Exactly I asked for the oring that goes into the upper hose radiator for a 2016 GT like this one:https://lmr.com/item/KM5290/mustang-gt-upper-radiator-hose-15-17

But the employee told me that they only sell the complete hose! should I go with Dorman 926-168 ? Or what would be the OEM part number?

PS: this image isn't from my car but google!

Reads like you've got a diagram and a PN#. While a member here might have a supporting experience, have you had a chance to chat up another dealer? To get their take?

If Ford doesn't support the purchase of individual O-rings, check out a local auto supply shop; they might have a large case where one can match up their current bit with a replacement.

Good Idea! As this dealer is new maybe 5 years of age in the region. So employees do not have a lot of experience. I'll talk with another one on monday!

06:47: "The O-Ring that we are replacing this with is a Ford OEM genuine Ford part. I'll put a link in the description."
And then he gives you the link in the description: https://amzn.to/3WC6dm7

That does make the assumption that the F150 uses the same hose, which may not be the case. Might be worth checking the hose part numbers.

Hell, for only $8, it might be worth just getting one to see if it's a fit. I don't typically like to start with throwing parts at something, but that's pretty short money. Bounce the part number off the dealer's parts department and see what they want for it.

And don't sweat the grammar. You're doing far better in English than most of us would be doing in French.

They say they don't sell it because this is the diagram they reference. As you can see it doesn't show a gasket for the hose. Not to say that Ford doesn't sell it, just that the dealership people are having a hard time finding it because this is the parts diagram for the coolant system, which doesn't show it.

A lot of items you have to buy the entire part. I was missing a clip that held on my decklid panel, and was told (and i work at the dealer) that i have to buy the entire trim panel to get the clips.
