Hey beefcake I was curious, on the normal 3" h-pipe catback are the mid mufflers the same size as the last ones with the tips? I noticed when installing mine that the mid mufflers were larger than the others. Is that normal or do I have the LMF version?

Sound is about 30-40% louder and sounds more aggressive now. I like it.
hmm... i might just go this route! Thanks!! do you have any videos by any chance?

in my opinion, its not drone either, just a loud exhaust. i can see how many think it is drone though

Please explain the LMF version. I found the following configurations from SW site. I assume the LMF is the 3" core system. So all of the SW catback video clips I hear are they the 2.5" or the 3" core system? Which ones are the vendors selling the most of?

2.5" catback (X or H) - 3" system w/2.5" cores
3.0" catback (X or H) - 3" system w/3" cores

to me it's drone. I've had many a exhaust from dual straight pipe flowmasters ( dronemaster 40's ) on chevy 350's to borla systems and plain old cherry bombs on some mopar 360's. the SW to me has a deep mono tone wail at speed. loud i can live with and have on many vehicles. the drone from the SW i have is pretty mind splitting.it's not the hollow tinny drone like a flow master; more like a deep long underlying tone, like a bass note from a song stuck on loop. turning the radio up doesn't help ( for me ) as it is still there in the background. However sound like flavor and taste is subjective. just because i hear a pitch of sound does not mean you will, just like a dog hears something a people usually cant. its subjective. and from what i can tell and people tell me the SW is quieter outside the car then my 13gt with the borla S outside the car...so im not really feeling the whole " its just loud " sentiment. again its subjective, so your mileage may vary.
