A dealer is not Ford.Ford does a lot of things that dont make sense
However they do set policy in what a dealer can and cannot do.A dealer is not Ford.

If a Ford dealer refuses service on a Ford car under warranty - call Ford Corp and they WILL be dealt with. Now if that happened and I had other options I would use them. But Ford dealers are REQUIRED as part of the franchisee agreement to perform warranty service on ALL Ford vehicles. No they dont, however depending on the dealership(s), you can arrange a courtesy delivery.
Bigger markets that charge large ADMs dont take kindly to someone buying out of state and having the car delivered to them. Some have even gone so far as to refuse service if the car wasn't bought by them.
I wouldn't dick around with trying to do this on the cheap. Find a reliable closed carrier and ship the car yourself.

Yes, and one of those policies is, that all dealers must warranty all Ford vehicles, as long as they meet the warrantable criteria. A brand new GT500 that has nothing done to it, but purchased at another dealer would have to be warrantied at any Ford dealer. However they do set policy in what a dealer can and cannot do.
Not sure where you are getting at, that I am saying you are full of it. I just do not agree with your previous statement fully.I can find the story for you if you think I'm full of it "rothgray"
