Well I'd be more happy if they had thought of this already. Hindsight is 20/20...still baffles me that they think black rims would be ok with everyone with a PP.
Or that others might want another style but in gloss black as an option for the non-performance pack cars...I want these for my Magnetic fastback.

I'm not a fan of gloss black, just like I'm not a fan of chrome. Matte black or no black. Also, I'm a fan of choices! More choices are NEVER a bad thing! :clap2:

IMO black rims should never be included in any package.

They should just be a stand alone option that you can swap to for extra $$$.

I'm also getting Magnetic, but I want those gun metal looking rims on the GT.

Which ones? I can't see any wheel in that pic
+1. Black wheels belong on riced-out Dodge Neons equipped with the fart can option package.

I agree they should be optional and not fixed to this package, but for a no-cost choice (check the order box - ding).

Welcome to the Magnetic club! And yes, I think that color also will look great with Magnetic.

Well from our little sample it looks like Ford's market research was right and more people like black than don't.

With that said it also seems having an option is also wanted. Maybe we'll see a Job 2 offering.

We have more that want a choice over black. That doesn't mean more like black though. Also many on here prob didn't know you could vote for more then 1 option.

In 2014 consumers are informed, pickier than ever, and want CHOICES. I understand this creates difficulties in the manufacturing process, but if car builder A won't deliver choices, car builder B will.......Ford needs to unpackage these wheels and let consumers decide, they can still up charge on certain wheels but let people mix and match all of them across all models.

Yep true, but we all know that the rims/tires are not really part of any manufacturing part that makes things cheaper to make, faster to build, etc. They are just RIMS. Hence why everyone is annoyed that we have 1 RIM choice here for the PP.

Now you can't mix and match all...due to specs...but there is only one 9.5 inch PP and it's black. All everyone wants is 1 more finish and a choice on those wheels.

Any customer can have a pp wheel painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black.

Ah yes...but gone are the days where customers had a choice of painting theirs to any color so long it was black.

Do we all want our cars all to be black? Uniformity like this could make assembly lines even faster and manufacturing even simpler.
