So...I am planning on installing some lowering springs and a few other bits and bobs that will necessitate an alignment. I thought I would do it myself and bought a tool kit to do just that. Well, I didn't think about the lane departure system needing recalibration after alignment.
Has anyone done a DIY alignment on a car with lane departure? How critical is the recalibration? Would it be needed if I never use lane departure? I am assuming the dealer would could do the recalibration, anyone have a dealer do just the recalibration? Cost? Should I just have the dealer do the alignment then and save the time?
So many questions...
